Visit to Renault F1 Team factory in Oxfordshire 4th April 2019

At one of the monthly meets of the Hants/Berks/w London V6 group, I was asked about a visit to the newly refurbished Renault Formula One Team factory in Enstone in North Oxfordshire, so I have managed to arrange a visit through a contact of mine at Renault.
This will include a full tour of the facility starting with a hot lunch on Thursday 4th April.
After 2 years of extensive refurbishment and building works, the Press were just allowed in for the first time last month for the launch of the 2019 car so we will be amongst the first members of the Public to see the new facility.
The most they can do is a group of 30 as the visits to the Technical centre are done in groups of 10 people and they have 3 hosts available.
After offering spaces to the meeting group and also the Admin/Events team of the club there are about 10 spaces left which I am happy to offer to other paid members of the V6clio club with priority given to active members who regularly contribute to the Forum/club.
We have parking spaces for 20 V6 at the factory for some photos so ideally you should come in your Vee!

location is Enstone in North Oxfordshire.
Meet time 11am for Clio V6 photos .
At midday a hot buffet lunch followed by briefing and tour of the Technical Centre in the afternoon.
Finish should be around 3pm.
Price is £79 a head to cover their costs which will be payable to me beforehand.

UPDATE
Thank you to those of you who have responded that you would like to attend.
Currently we have 27 people and 16 Vees in 9 different varieties...
Phase 1 in Silver and Illiad Blue
Phase 2 in Liquid yellow, Acid yellow, Black Gold, Illiad, Titanium silver, Mars red, and whatever colour [mention=4155,#000000]Jitstar[/mention] calls his wrap (if it is still wrapped)
One of the Black ones has the complete i.d. leather interior for those of you that have never seen that before and I'm looking forward to seeing [mention=3246,#000000]moktabe[/mention] ongoing creation pictured below.
I also expect a Journalist and photographer to be there to capture the event for a future magazine article about the Vee in general.

Yep. My own organisational unluckiness. I work there, and after 9 years of working here and V6 ownership, wondering if a V6 day will ever come.... I'm traveling on that day. [emoji21]

Shame and sorry for you [smilie=icon_cry.gif] Need to pull a sickie but that probably wouldn't work :rofl: :rofl: Will need to leave your Vee there for the photos! I am sure if you put a cardboard cut out into it no one will know!!

The 19 Vees will be parked together. People in other cars will possibly be directed to normal visitor parking as it is very tight there for parking but will see on the day.
I am trying to have somewhere as a photo opportunity for your cars on their own, perhaps outside reception and perhaps with an F1 car to park next to so make sure you bring cleaning gear and a camera

Yes great idea Stephen as we discussed, it's only 10 minutes down the road,.
So after the Factory visit f you want to see inside Stephen's treasure trove workshop he has a few Alpine projects there at the moment including some A310s GTA and A610 plus "projects lurking around" so worth a visit.
The address is RAOC workshop, Unit 3 Hatch End, Middle Aston Bicester. OX25 5QL.
