VEE MOT

Hi all, Right, you may have read my question on rear rose joints well i haven't replaced them yet as i waited for my vee to have the MOT which i am happy to say has passed another year with no probs. :approve: I have taken my cars to this certain garage for 12 years as when i was a young boy racer with my r5 gtt ( which i still have ) It was my local renault backstreet garage with a group of good lads. I explained about the rear inner rose joints having a small amount of play in them and as a result at the wheels it would be a little more side ways play. The owner of the garage who mot'd the vee was a fanatical renault fan and he really knows his stuff . He said that a rose joint WILL have a small amount of play in it and when he jacked the vee up in the air he was'nt concerned about the movement as it felt ok. The only reason you would replace them is if it started knocking. Only then would you need too.!!
so,,,, just interested to know if any one else has a bit of side way play in theirs ??? Even the F1 cars have a similar set up apparently??? Let me know the out come of your vee!!! [smilie=thanks.gif]
