a little blast from the past...As part of promoting British technology we arranged for Damon Hill to run the Renault F1 car (built in Enstone of course) to run along Whitehall. And all was well until on the actual day some senior copper obviously didn't like No 10 or Blair and changed his mind saying if the car touched a public road we would be arrested. so instead it was moved over the road to a private car park where the Police couldn't stop us running it......
