Valver coilovers on widetrack

G

Guest

might be going to pick up a widetrack for dirt cheap

and was wondering am i going to have camber issues if i fit the widetrack with valver coilovers

and will camber corection bolts sort it as i allready have some

thanks

bradus

think it gives around 3deg?

not sure if camber bolts would be enough tbh

DSCF0527.webp

on the website says the camber bolts can allow 3 degrees..so u reakon thats 1.5 neg and positive

well if u run it i would expect tyre wear

but i no u can modifiy the coilovers to fit by filling them but was curious to weather camber bolts would do it

Bradus - most camber correction bolts are 3degs positive and negative iirc!! I which case they will be able to set it around 0degs but then you have no futher adjustment. Although if you can efford the tyres I'd run slight negative camber anyway!!

Ronee - forget it your not having Willvers wide track!!!

worth it then coz i run abit of neg camber atm anyway

once got it will let you no how much i got it for :)

do valver wishbone bushes fit williams wishbones bushes as i have some brand new 16v poloybushes for wishbones ?

they're different iirc

think allan had to order different sets for his williams and valver

TBH i have no idea never looked into it!!

And I bet it wasnt as cheep as mind lol

dont think they do fit tbh

what do i nead

drifshafts
arb
trackroad ends
wishbones
subframe but might use valver one

anything i missed

i thought the bolt spacing was different meaning you physically couldent fit valver hubs on willy coilovers etc. same way RSI hubs dont fit on a 1.2

running the camber as the pic is posted would drag you into the neerest hedge as soon as you hit the smallest bump! would be mint on track though..

Some people slot the valver shocks to give the adjustment to run them with widetrack, tbh i wouldnt do it like that all the wieght on that slotted hole means it could just move about or even worse snap ?

ill have some spare williams shocks very soon.

i can get the widetrack with the shocks and springs

but what im thinking will i get better handling out of my set

coilovers on valver track
polybushes wishbones
and all new bushes and new parts

or would i have a better handling car with just a williams widetrack and shocks and springs ?

Hummm IMO I would use the valver coilovers poly bushes etc.

There is an improvment in Widetrack dont get me wrong but a really good Vavler setup will be better than widetrack
