This guy is very well known in the Salvage business and he has an extremely poor reputation to say the least ! (and that's VERY bad in that business as all are crooks!)
The car has been re-sprayed down the driver's side (note no door lock) and possibly the majority of the car.
That scuffed front bumper wouldn't write it off under any circumstances as PH2 values are now at £15k + ... it was written off long before 12 months ago anyway !
Trying to sell a car like this with such a poor Ebay account is nonsensical , it is a private auction (not to me , I can see the bids hehe!) ... 15 bidders (several with "0" Feedback) , with only 24 bids total and at £8k with <12hours to run ... just do the maths ... this guy is taking shill bidding to the next level ! Ironically , he should have used one of his moody accounts to advertise it instead of his "Best" account ... shi# , even my moody account has higher and better feedback than his !
Had he just advertised it from a new account stating that it was " a damaged repaired car with no history and no evidence of belt change, but cosmetically very good due to extensive paintwork" , he would have sold it in minutes at £10k buy-it-now ... as someone could have happily drove it around for July and August and then sold on with an honest advert for pretty much what he/she paid for it !
Instead , he has just managed to piss-off the entire V6 World with his stupid comments !
From a legal point of view , there is money to be made (but don't get involved with this Guy ! Please !) , You are now required by UK Law to state if the car is on the register in your title , he has done the opposite ... saying it is not salvage ... just slipping "cat-D" into the listing at some point is no longer good enough ... Legal Presidents have been set , and what he is doing is ILLEGAL , as every judge/Magistrate in the country will tell you ...
Even the oldest , hardcore , long-term salvagers will be frowning at this advert , he is a Dinosaur and has no place selling cars in today's market ...
It may look cheap (and is) at £8k but there is no saying he even has the car for sale , he may well just be stealing the non-refundable deposit for all we know ... Please stay away from this car until an accurate and thorough description are given by a genuine seller
I would love to just do the V6 World a Big Favour and bid £20k on my moody account so he doesn't con some poor potential buyer ?
I'm very tempted

... but I don't want to ruin the auction for someone who genuinely wants a cheap PH2 and also , as soon as I don't pay the deposit , i'd actually be adding to the shill-bidding because of the second chance offer system !
I have reported the item to Ebay (at the highest level) , but it is doubtful that it will be removed before the auction ends ...
And just a final note to all you "serial parts hunters" , there is no need to scrap this car at the moment as we have such little info on it ... disproportionately lowering the amount of V6's available will not higher your value , in fact , could make things far worse for future values ... they are being written-off fast enough as it is ! ... one would think the less there are , the more they're worth , but it could well back-fire to a stage where the V6 has a reputation as all been crashed and perfect ones are out of , all but collector's reach ... so please be careful ... V6 prices are rising daily and will continue to do so FOREVER , so let's not be greedy ! Most long-term owners on here have already made a profit on their cars ... I'd like to see this car thoroughly checked and auto-ligned and in the hands of a new owner , at the right price , who has one of the finest , coolest Supercars on the planet at a price where it will only escalate in value ... I forsee a time where there will be 2 V6 Clubs , one for perfection and one for "dogs" , but the dog section will always infringe the value of perfection , especially on a model of car that has been repeatedly and unnecessarily written off due to minor cosmetic damage ... we need to repair correctly all decent V6's so they can be promoted to the "almost perfect section"
But that dishonest description did make me want to break the car my self !
Just don't let these "Joeys" get you down !
