V6 Trophy at Abingdon Carnival

I went along to watch the Mark competing at the Abingdon Carnival earlier.

Nice to meet you Mark, I hope you do keep the car and i hope you get the chance to bring it out for special occasions. :race:

Was awesome hearing/seeing it go! What a cool car!!

I hadnt noticed the v6 logo detail in the rear window before. Nice touch. :approve:

Need to brush up my photography skills of fast moving cars, but managed to get a few shots:

It was a shame that Mark didn't make Prescott...

Subjectively, T1 vs Trophy V6 for pace?

Totally subjectively; the trophy looked faster.

The T1 looked really fast at times, but didn't carry its speed as well. Spectacular to watch! The trophy looked very smooth and looked less frantic on the tight bits. On the straight the trophy looked like the fastest thing there.

Will be interesting to see the times!

Was down in the programme as being a Hawk HF something or other. So i took it to a be a replica.

Oh, okay missed the text under the photo. If it's a Hawk then it is a Kit car. JT tested it on Top Gear, and the wiper flew off on the straight! Interesting that somebody is actually thrashing the thing around a road/rally circuit....

Some great shots Duncan.....we had a fun day but sure Mark will be along soon with another write up.

Will keep everyone informed, should be out again this summer and can't wait!
