V6 Mk1 or Mk2

I'm thinking of selling my Mint PH1 in Mars. 25,400 mile. Had the cambelt done last year, and had clutch and water pump done at the same time. it has just had a set of Pilot all round, and a Genuine battery. Also got the steering wheel re trimmed earlier this year, by a guy who trims for bentley. Its never had any paint, and is totally OEM standard, except silver side pods.

Quick update...

Put a deposit down on an amazing mk1 today. Feels like Christmas has come early.

Will update when I collect...

Hi,
I see this Mars Red Phase 1 most days when I travel to work and it is very very nice quite envious really! Hope you've paid more than I could afford for it because I was considering knocking on His door but I didn't think He would sell it! And that He would just laugh at Me : (

Thanks...

To say I'm pleased is an understatement. The condition looks to be exceptional and the low millage is just what I was after. This will be a keeper for many years.

Planning to keep her totally OEM, will probably get the side pods put back to mars at some point.

It looks like you've struck gold with that car Grant, and after admiring the Vees for 10 years you must be the most worthy new custodian.

Was it the first car you'd seen with a view to buying?

Lots of photos when you get her, please!

Mark

Morning Mark

Hope your having a good Christmas...

There were a couple of other contenders but its one of those things that when the right one comes up you need to move quick as the market is hot at the moment for good examples.

This one just ticked all the boxes. I had originally wanted a Ph2 but the 'purity' as such of the Ph1 has always appealed. I plan to get a Ph2 in a couple of years to keep it company.

I have not seen it in the flesh but the current owner has sent me lots of photos and I have looked over all the past threads regarding its history and I do feel lucky to have found a example with such detailed history.
