V6 fixed at last!

Hi

I am new to here but have had a V6 for a while.

Took my V6 into the friendly Subaru garage across the road from our Fire Station a few weeks ago to investigate the strange creeking coming from the front of the car. Anyway, after a full inspection front and rear of the vehicle it turned out that I had play in 3 of the wheels. So, simple, just order the parts from Renault, fix them to the car, set up the geometry and...done.

The Subaru garage had a f**king nightmare with Renault. It took 4 weeks to get the wishbones and ball joints for the car and when they showed up...were all wrong. They had given me stuff for the Phase 2. Anway, parts go back and after 2 weeks the right parts come in. Renault are useless.

The Subaru garage who done the work were spot on and peformed the full geometry set up well with the help of oxy acetylene to help loosen all the nuts and bolts. Anyway, now the next problem....blowing exhaust manifold gasket...dont think I will use Renault for this.

Cost for replacing the ball joints/wishbones and tie rod ends on the back with full geometery set up...£490.
