Upper grille retaining clips

Renaults parts have no record of these, but they were on the car?

They are a small CM Squared approx clip that hold the bottom edge of the upper grill the the top edge of the bumper. Possibly 4 or six.

Can any one advise part no or where to get them?

Thanks

Sorry, now im confused as above suggests these clips do exist?
I am also 100% sure as i saw them.. before mine went for repaint and now they have vanished..F##king Body shops!

We are talking upper grill (182 one) aint we, not lower?
Thanks

The above topic shows there are no clips for the grill. Chris only thought there was.

Nothing shown

However they do exist, my car had them..
Ill continue the hunt..

It seems any small item like screws and clips are not able to be sourced by Renault. If you find what your looking for please post a link for others to find them.

Update.
They are a Renault part, a panel clip, used on various models.
My bro who runs a Renault garage, has found what he thinks they are in his bits box [smilie=yay.gif]
Yet to try them and only got 3 of 6, but its a start.
They push over the 6 nodules on the back of the bumper, pushing the grill forward to meet the moulding ridge in the bumper, seen from the front.

Having just checked my thoughts about these clips with Scott at SG, he has confirmed my findings.

Due to many Vees having bumper paints and repairs many grilles dont sit 100% as new with the moulding lines. These panel clips go over the nodules to keep the grill in correct forward position.

He has however also found that replacing with new sometimes improves the positioning as many of the grilles become britle and do sit too far back on the lower edge. Thus simple clip is used to push them forward from behind..

I will take a pic of mine once job completed.

Still not 100% convinced they're 100% OEM lol :salut:

I need to do some more investigatory work I think...
