very rare one!

[v6plaque]243[/v6plaque]

€ 25,000 (~£22,500) * Update* Now € 24,000 (~£21,200)
ad is a bit brief:

"Renault Clio RS V6 Phase 1
conduite a droite RHD

82000 kms
distribution récente"

so its had a recent cambelt.

Only two snags, Its got a sunroof, [smilie=icon_eek.gif] and its CAT-D (happened <2008 when it was in the UK).

Price is pretty keen though (save for any brexit taxes bringing it back!) so it could be saved if your looking for a rare one.

Perfect for Marge Simpson.

I seem to remember streamline (now defunct) used to do a carbon roof option for the Clio 2. I believe it needed to be supplemented with a cage to ensure structural rigidity.

I'd love a sunroof on mine.
WHY ?

Although we all know a sunroof isn't a 'good' thing for a sports car and it's not like the V6 needs any more weight up high, there is something nice about a sunroof!

Having had Renaults with a sunroof in the past, the absolute last thing I'd want now would be a sunroof on a Renault.

Having seen some images of crumpled Vees in the past, I suspect the roof is the ‘weakest link’ in a crash. I can’t imagine that sunroof installation would be the smartest move...

Great price for an Illiad Ph1 though. Arguably bad timing - post Brexit paperwork faff.
Someone should bring it home, have SGM install a safety devices half cage... and enjoy!

I'd be amazed if it didn't.

Whack a GB sticker on the back of the car, get a set of plates of the original UK reg made up (GF02OZO).. switch them over just before you get to customs in Calais and sail through ;)

Good plan!

Bizarre to think that VAT was paid in 2002 and would be applicable again? Doesn’t sound lawful...

If a car was first sold in the UK and VAT was paid, then the VAT element shouldn't apply. Not sure about import duty though...

As this was Car D roof was probably kinked, fitting a sunroof would be a way of bodging it by weakening the structure enough to dozer it then put a sunroof in to get some strength back and hide the damage.
