Tyre Problem!

Hi Guys,

A few of you may remember me having an issue with my car pulling to the left on acceleration since fitting new rear tyres.

The car has now come out of winter storage and whilst cleaning it this morning, I noticed that one of the rear tyres looks differently fitted to that of the other.

Right Side:

Notice that the rim on the left side appears to petrude more than the other. I have checked pressures and they are both at 30psi.

Have the tyres been incorrectly fitted?

Cheers,
Phil.

I can confirm that the tyres size is definitely correct. Does the rear-left side look unusual to anyone else?

Thanks,
Phil.

they look pretty normal to me mate, ive got a similar problem with it pulling one way, im trying to find someone who does 4 wheel alignment down this way, i would say its more to do with the alignment,
but you could have them balanced first?
just thinking if there is something wrong with the tyres then it should show up when its spinning on the machine, or the weight might be off,
just a guess really :)

thanks for your advice Adam. I'm going to take the Vee down to the place who did the tyres on saturday and see if they have any comments.
i'm going to see scott @ sg in a few weeks anyway so if i haven't sorted it by then, then i'm sure scott can fix it!! :)
