Twingo Gordini's 133

I have got a need for a small car, I really like the Twingo's, and fancy a Gordini Version.... Its more a toy car for me and a car for Lucy to use occasionally, anybody owned a Twingo 133? The only reason why I fancy a Gordini version is the Leather Seats, love the colour...

Not sold the focus yet..... ;)

Going to test drive a 133 cup today....just to if I would like one or not... she has been looking at a KA or a Fiat 500... but I like the twingo look of a twingo better...

I have !
:allthethings:

Owned a non gordini with cup and fat pack.

Was great fun , but you have to thrash the bollocks of it to get anywhere. Not particularly refined and not great on motorways but a real thrash car.

This. Handles well but needs a turbo very badly!

Just got back from the test drive. .. your right really needs thrashing or a turbo.

Was impressed none the less, just love the look off it. Lucy was not as keen... time will tell :)

the green upshift light was ace. Handled like a go kart. Had a snapped ARB bracket that was replaced under warranty. Everything else was solid.

Got around 35mpg on the motorway sat at 80 ( it was arond 4k rpm I think ) and not a lot when caining it around town.

Twingo gt is worth a punt and with a remap will match a 133 for power with more torque.

Based on having a gt you could easily run 40mm wider wheels in there with no arches needed. They may of got the wider track with just an offset change? By swapping out I ment coil overs. The gt was just another option fun fast economical and tuneable to a point, handles well out of the box, same as most clios
