Now before we get going........ I'm NOT considering this.....

We had the front open today and had the front tub out giving it a clean, and having one of those Sunday afternoon petrolhead conversations with my mate.


"You could stick a 182 subframe and lump in there and have 4 wheel drive" was the topic.

Often seen Twin engined monsters in CCC and the like over the years, Some looney must have tried it surely.

Have they...??

With money anything is possible but it would be much easier to start with a 182 and put a lump in the back i reckon. Turns out they are only good for drag racing most of the time as they are terrible at twisty work.

It would make one heavy MoFo thats for sure.

I remember man handling a 172 engine about the garage once, and that was one heavy lump.

The v6's are loads heavier too. I fitted the Peugeot derivertive of ours to a 205gti the other year and it was a pig to move about and place correctly in the bay. . . . .Mind you, compared to a big block chevy I suppose they weigh f4ck all really lol

There was a Peugeot 30x (can't remember which) at FCS a few years ago with our V6 engine front and rear and some nitrous canisters in the back too.
Wasn't finished then, still working out linkages i believe, not seen it since.
