Clio Tutuur's Clio R27 turbo

Finally got it running the way i want, it's running 1,6 bar from 4000rpm till redline now. Heatsoak was a bit of a problem on the dyno which caused it to pull a few degrees of timing on topend, which it doesn't do on the street. So probably has a few more ponies in real life but this will do for now. Dare i say i have the highest horsepower standard Megane 250 engine in the world right now?

Top effort mate glad to see it's all come together perfect and the 250 fuel system is working well.

You joining us at the ring next month?

I'm afraid not mate, got an anniversary weekend with the mrs that weekend (no i won't take her to the ring, lol). You still set of from Den Helder?

Will be interesting to see how the most powerful standard 250 engine holds up [emoji846]

Been giving it some proper death and it still lives.....

Extraordinary work, by the way!!!

Cheers mate, how is yours?

Not so much this year mate, mostly been working through Esbjerg in Denamrk with the occasional transit through Eemshaven. Start on a UK project in Oct so think that will be me stuck in the UK for the next 6 to 8 months.

Shame your not joining us buddy, think this is the first event that hasn't clashed with work for a long time.

Well, after having the problems in April in Spa, the ECU had to be replaced by a new one. After this and a change of the Water Temp Sensor, it is fine so far. I was on the Nürburgring GP Track for the first time in August and the Clio worked well.

I'm pretty glad with the speed of the car if you compare with much pricier stuff. A friend of mine bought the limited edition M4 shortly. In fact it is a bit more powerful in straight line, but the brakes lasted for 3 laps an did not recover after.

But I could bring the Clio to you;-)

Yeah the Clio's really benefit from the Megane conversion, gives them the power they need!

Yeah i'm into the Megane 3's now aswell. They like a hybrid turbo so much!
