I know what you mean - but the Vee was meant to be a road-going version of the outrageous V6 Trophy.

It lost a little something in the splitter/spoiler department in the process (as well as the interior).

I think it 'carries off' the tweak quite neatly.

It's possible that the car was upgraded to the later Trophy spec which would have included a revised rear spoiler and left this one surplus to requirement. I have found the original teams contact details so I could try and find out...

Just thought I would update this to say I had a response from the team, they didn’t say what happened to the car or where it is now. But they very kindly did send me a few more pictures they had of the car competing in period:
