Had the MOT yesterday, was at the garage during it and the guy called me over to show me the inside wear on the front tyres. Id heard the camber settings are such a way that they do wear unevenly on the front but this was quite a way off, the drivers side was bald on the first 1.5" from the inside inwards but still passed as they have to measure 3/4 the tyres from the centre. Does anyone know the correct settings as Im going to get them realligned?

Thanks in advance

Your better off with a 4 wheel alignment, about £50, or there abouts. Just mention to the garage or place you book, its a V6 to ensure they have the correct wheel alignment programme which has the settings all ready programmed into it.

The settings are posted here knowledge/kb_show.php?id=38

That wear sounds pretty normal I'd say [smilie=icon_eek.gif] if it's not too far for you to go I'd recommend Demon Tweeks :thumb at Wrexham, quite a few of us have had our cars done there, Myself, Martin, Jainy, Mossy (I think) and they do a good job and certainly know what they are doing :) , my car was certainly much improved at higher speeds after a visit there :thumb [smilie=bunny_4.gif], probably a couple of years since I had mine done but if my memory serves me right the guy to contact is Craig Wood [smilie=doubt.gif] (I think)

Wayne,

Here's a thought ... Book it into Demon Tweeks on Saturday 25th July in Wrexham and meet some of us at Oulton Park drifting during the remainder of the day ... Assuming it's not too far of course as there may be places nearer to you that can do the alignment ...
