Here is an image of the tool I'm making for changing the timingbelt with the need of taking of only exhaust, subframe, drivingshafts and gearbox support.
The red parts are two standard engine supports, the blue parts are two rails clamped over the beams in front and back of the engine. The grey parts are custom made.

Total costs about 400 pounds. Maybe something for the home enthousiast who wants to do it himself, but doesn't have a lift. One thing though, if you want to use it, the car needs to be set level to work.

A little excessive but nice work again Harry

I will be using 2 bits of Uni strut and some threded rod to lower with ladder clamp spin brackets, a liitle Heath Robinson I know but it will work very well.

Plus mines cost me about £15.

Whatever works the best for you, but this is how I will be using it. The cost indication is not a selling point just information. I won't be making them for others. [smilie=icon_chef.gif]
