Tidy up on the old girl

VII Car Care

Alriiiight guys & gals, how are we? Thought I'd share my little project atm. It started off as just re painting my callipers, then some rust was seen to, more paint, alloys sealed with C1, arches all cleaned up nice. Alloys back on then onto machine polishing the paint!

Onto machine polishing. Rear bumper removed for access to the massive back box, which will be swapped over with the ph1 after market exhaust.

I then decided the front bumper should come off as its easier to polish properly with the grills out. So that will involve -

Grills removed & re sprayed satin black (Already sprayed 5 years ago)
Bumper machine polished
Stone chips hopefully improved with the Chipex kit (on way)

In the mean time, I cleaned the dirty bits up behind the bumper. Then cleaned, polished & sealed under the bonnet.

Only pic of callipers atm! Looking much better!

Latest pics of the progress, it's slow but I'm in no rush!

Cheers for looking! :thumb:

Lol Ali, it got to the point where I got fed up of looking at her! Callipers look naff in white ever since the wheels went back to silver. Bodywork needed some lovin. Had to be done! I love my vee so much!

Then I'll do it all again on the ph1! ;)

Wow Dawn, awesome work and dedication!

I want to treat mine to a PROPER spruce, I just don't have the time at the moment.

What did you use inside the arches?
