Picked this old girl up in May, this is how it looked when I got it home

It went in to the bodyshop a few months ago and finally got it back on Sunday (1st October):

After a quick wash:

Interior was given a quick vacuum (but had gotten grubby in the work since the shampoo in June, so needs to be vax'd again:

Picked up some genuine rear 3 piece mats in July from ROC 60th Anniversary autojumble in Bewl, back in June (also picked up spare body parts):

Unforunately I couldn't find genuine front mats so bought a set of four tailored mats off ebay to use the front two:

Thats all for now, plenty more for me to be getting on with!

Had a spare few hours today, so cleaned the interior and then inside all the door shuts boot shuts etc, then cracked on with a quick clean under the bonnet, could probably put a few more hours into the engine bay but for the time I put in i'm pretty happy with it:

Picked up a load of 25 bits today off a chap from Renault Owners Club, came home and was planning to clean the car but weather has been on and off so used the time to sticker it up a bit :)

Well the ISO adapter, and din pocket haven't arrived yet so couldn't put my alpine head unit in, but picked these Rockford Fosgate Punch speakers up from a chap on edition38, they sound fantastic.

Installed them in the rear:

26th October 2012

Got a few odds and sods together recently, decided against installing the alpine head unit and keeping it OEM, so added a nifty veba fm Modulator to the car, and picked up a remote control for my ipod.

Ipod RF Remote:

Installed the modulator behind the ash tray, (easy access if i want to change the frequency):

Cheers tom, its quite funny how this isn't an exec spec TXI which in fact makes it quite rare as most people got the spec with colour coding and leather etc. I have to say though the non colour coding and velour really make this car what it is, some nice contrasts :)

jesus that interior is minty, as is the exterior but the interior is seriously retro, never put leathers in there, comfort central i bet. the job on the exterior was totally worth the wait

Cheers mate I can't beleive the thought of getting rid of the velour crossed my mind! its seriously sweet in there now, only thing i need to do is fix the vent toggles or just get some replacements, other then that everything works perfectly :)

Nice 8)

What was the bodywork stuff you had done in the end?

Those rear mats were a good find!

Rear arches we're super rotten mate, inside and out, even the inner parts were rotting badly, so had the arches repaired by an old school bodyshop, he did lead soldering and guarantees it won't rust again, had the rear 1/4s sprayed because of it, had the rear spoiler fitted and sprayed, and partial spray on the bottom of the tailgate, and the left hand rear door sprayed (it was scratched badly).

All in all really happy with it :)

gotta love the boutique, car looks very clean.

Cheers mate :)

Got a few issues to address now need to clean the numberplate light connector as i'm still getting a bulb out warning from the cars voice even after replacing the blown bulb, also the drivers door speaker isn't working so need to address that aswell

Congratulations!
A good job well done!

And those genuine Renault Boutique floor mats are simply awesome!

Thanks man, Also I haven't forgotten about the Safrane Radio, I have been really busy lately, will get it sorted as soon as I can

Prab

No worries about that.
Take your time.

Speaking about spares and accessories, I still have a set of 4 tailored floor mats, made specifically for Renault 25, dark grey with silver contour, made in the Netherlands, brand new!

If interested in those just drop a pm. ;)

I am willing to make a swap with the ones you have in your 25, or to sell them otherwise.

Cheers,

V.

Don't need tailored mats my friend, yours would be for LHD configuration, and I love the official boutique mats, they we're actually made here in the UK would you beleive!

Prab

I can hook you up with 2 Philips Autoradio Security Code stickers, which were placed (factory fitted) on each front door's window, on the right corner, lower for the passenger's side and left side for the driver's for UK models.

And if interested 2 NOS fog lamps with yellow glass.
