Hiya peoples, good weekend I hope? So a few weeks ago my MD asked me to clean his truck up. He has a tasty audi tt s that I've wanted to get my mitts on for ages, so me doing this as a freebie may convince him let me do the tt!
Anyway, It took 2.5 days. And, I felt it!
Here we go ..... Arrival
So the usual, wheels Iron x'd, autosmart, g101 on the tyres. Arches had a hell of alot of tar on them :doublesho Tardis didn't really hold up too well against that lot. Time was short, so I did what I could in the time I had.
All washed, Iron x'd, tardis'd & clayed. Took around 4 hours!
Goodies
Few little inspections
Now, the paint seemed very low from what I've seen before. Paint gauge at the ready, the rotary, 3m green pad & 105 .... go!
First tackle
I proceeded
205 applied via 3m blue
End of day 1, half way round.
Other side, some places req' spot wet sanding. Notice the egg etching, no avail so I had to have another go. Bloody egg farmers!
So, after I finished correction I applied Blackhole & Colli 945 or which ever one it was. The interior was given a good going over, brisk on the upholstry, poorboys trim dressing on the inner trims.
Few finished pics
And that was that! Glad that one's over!
