Seems like it’s bitten a few of the rr folk on the bottom.

Do the police still issue producers? You’d think that they would with tax, it back dates to the first of the month regardless of if you buy it on the 1st or 28th, giving you the benefit of the doubt, if after a week you haven’t taxed it they then prosecute for no tax would only seem fair

Just tried ring them and every way to tax your car is off until Monday 6am, I’m going to travel down with no tax, if the police pull me over going to state that the dvla is down and see what they say

Got bitten by this as well. Dad was buying a new Tiguan. plan had been to drive to view it (120 miles away) on the saturday morning then drive it back if we liked it. Ended up going down the wednesday night then having to go back again on the saturday to pick it up.
