...bad as this chap, but if he is like this on track then wonder what he is like on public roads! LINK
Shame the (in-car?) video is not available anymore, but wait until the flash video segment on the above link loads up, and then you will understand why - ironic though it may sound, the poor victim in this clip seems to be driving a Megane! [smilie=icon_cry.gif]
The following excerpts from the Jalopnik article sums it up really:
"Over the course of the 10 minute video, the driver rests his hand on the handbrake; takes corners with just one hand on the wheel; rests his elbow on the door; overtakes other cars mid-corner and in braking zones by nearly crashing into them; dicks around with the infotainment screen, which he doesn't seem to understand how to use; has the worst hand placement and wheel control I think I've ever seen; and plows over every other car in the field simply because he has the power to do it"
"But nooooo, he's in a GT-R! The magical computer car with five billion horsepower that you don't need to learn to drive because it does all the work for you! Just plant your foot and go, knob, you have a GT-R!"
However, it is interesting that such antics were tolerated at Bedford............
PS: Wonder how he will cope if he is given a lowly Vee (or an old school 911, or pretty much anything that doesn't have driver aids) to drive in anger
On a serious note, such behaviour is what puts me off taking part in track days where just about anybody can turn up and drive, rather than an event organised by a car club.
Anybody else have a similar experience?
