....yeah I'm not trying to put a downer on it by any means Tim - I guess that last thing I want is to tell everything it's the best thing since sliced bread and people be dissapointed, then I get a public stoning.

Out of interest QS reckon they get an extra 6bhp out of their exhaust. Can the the people with QS exhausts notice the extra 6bhp?

As Ant says, price per bhp is as good as it gets.....(apart from maybe nos).

I have a G-tech pro 1994 version (http://www.gtechpro.com/prod.html) which measures acceleration and 0-60 etc.

This can be used used as a more scientific measure for any modifications done - it is more accurate than things like street-dyno or 'gut feel'.

Mine was only about £50 quid and are a useful piece of kit IMHO. OK, it's not like having a real dyno but it is as good as it gets short of that.

That is, of course, if you want to keep track of any performance increments from modifications etc.

Who could honestly feel 6 or 9BHP on top of 250odd? The QS just looks better and sounds better. Never noticed any improvement. Far too subjective. The thing is the map DOES WORK. Its not going to make you sprint past Mike T tho! But your Vee will DEFINATELY be faster in every respect. Bargain IMO.

And for the meet / mapping sesh can you all please PM me your mobile numbers.

I will return with my mobile number incase anyone can't find us at the services. Although TBH finding a bunch of Vee's parked up at the services should be easy enough!

Just got back.

Long day and VERY cold.

BUT good to meet a few more owners and the map is spot on!

Been out for a good run and its definately noticeable! Pulls much harder. Seems more torquey low down, but doesn't seem to run out of steam. Well pleased. :D

Cheers Paul. Good work!

Anyone popping upto Leeds please liaise with Paul and get your date booked. Pease book the date ASAP. Not the mapping itself, just book the date!

I want to wrap this group buy up.

Happy to answer any questions about the new map from potential buyers. However everyone thus far has been VERY HAPPY with the improvement. After we've had time to really test our cars the remapped car is noticeably better in all respects. Fuel consumption is unaffected.

Had my re-map done on Saturday and I'm very pleased with it :D :D, throttle response seems sharper and I can definately notice the extra torque 8), generally gives the car a feeling of more urgency :D :D.

Thanks to Paul for doing the work and also to Peter for arranging this group buy :D :D
