Is it noiser then?

It roars at high revs large throttle openings, and growls at low revs large throttle openings. Especially good with the passengers window open.

was car using shell v power on tests? + what about doing remaps in midlands area .middle of england ? .i have bmc and it sounds great.

The cold air feed on the BMC means you don't have to leave the engine cover off/ajar, right?

I don't get how the deal with winding down the passenger window works? :?

Because the cold air feed for the air filter on the Vee is inside the passenger side pod, from which you get a noticable induction roar.

The mapping can be done in London or Leeds. Whichever is nearer. If your not sure come to London so we have 5!

Nev,

Have you noticed any change in the MPG :?:

Phill

I've haven't reset the mpg thing on my car for 4,000 miles - the mpg hasn't changed at all (I get 23.3 mpg), but I guess it would have to be a really low mpg to lower the average over 4,000 miles if you know what I mean.

I seem to be getting pretty much the same mpg per tank though (maybe slightly less than normal but I put that down to me driving much more erratically since the re-map trying to see the difference).

When we getting this done? Can I just flag that my car is going in for some paintwork on the 27th... and you know what parts are like to get!

Depends on how many people post up they are interested. We are almost there with enought names! I'd guess not for a few weeks tho.

What are people hanging around for? It is something that needs doing to every Vee... and it costs less than a pair of front brake pads.

This man speaks the truth! Listen one and listen all!

Get your names down.

Just to clarify for people with the Exhaust and/or IK

The difference of airflow will probably be nothing with the induction kit so the map will be spot on to work with this, you'll probably find it will enhance the overall gains too!

Same for the exhaust pretty much, as these are only minor mods there is no need to start mapping to suit as this map will be excellent in conjunction with the above

Cheers

Paul

There you go. No more excuses!

Will all the mk2 owners please form a line.

Mk1 owners pls post interest in development of a mk1 map.
