Supercharger at the mappers

This may be of some or no interest but heres this afternoons results following a comprehensive rewire and resinstall of the Motec and an engine rebuild with some porting by Scott.

1st run 308BHP at the wheels with fuelling mapped, ign from an EVO and no cams switched.
2nd run 322BHP with 20degrees ignition at 6000rpm no cam switched
3rd run cams switched 352BHP at the wheels (est) - we broke the charger belt!!

So thats about 400BHP at the flywheel (6750rpm) on the Dyno at Owens before we map it fully tomorrow.

The really cool part is that this is at only 9psi of boost following my slowing down the charger which has resulted in inlet temps of only 30degrees at full boost - this is very good for those that don't know. :D

Owens estimate with the Turbos on at 18psi of boost - 550 - 600BHP!!!!

We'l be mapping for 400 road and 525 track!!!!

These engines just love a bit of boost!

remember this is through a sequential 6 speed box geared for 134mph - it's gotta be sub 4 to 60 - happy days!

but surely with your sequential gearbox the gearing won't be near 1:1 ratio?? so your dyno figures are a bit out, not that i'm debating its power!

There 10mins up the road from me, They any good?

Went and enquired about rolling road and they said it would be around £85 an hour, didnt know whether this was exspensive or not.

They're not bad, they supply Prodrive with the turbochargers for the WRC cars

I would very much like a ride ,your sequencial box is it streight cut as well like on a rally car and if ya dont mind how much did it cost .
