There is a drilling on the drivers side of the sump that faces 45 degress to the horizontal just forward of the engine mount. Should this have anything in? ie a sensor?
I know there is a fluid level sensor on the passenger side.
My engine is in a kit car so it is slightly different. I have been having a bit if an oil leak from that vicinity and I am thinking this exposed hole might be the cause. I have made a small bung to fit in it but i want to know if it has a specific purpose.
Any ideas?
