We bought our Vee for £7,700. It's got a very dark history and it's not perfect by far. We have sorted many little bits out and she'll get better with age, oh and ours has 57k on the clock too! Don't run a mile mate just be cautious, they aren't all sheds at that price! Looks as though it needs a good home!
PS, If you plan to take a look, it'll be worth its weight in gold if you took someone with you who's Vee current!
VN52 MXP has never been cat D- it was repaired by Mark fish-
Mark had the car for 3 months & it came through in better condition than it did out of the showroom- it was sold as new-
here is some pics taken out of email from this date- ive saved it for 7 years that email-

Subject: Steves Pic's DO NOT ERASE
I bought my first V6 from Masters of Beckenham for 19k- it was written off 2 weeks later in lewisham by a drunk driver luckily the police were 2 cars behind-
I bought this V6 out of the insurance payout- I got £18850 & paid 17k for it- private sale
I had a bump in it locally & it was repaired -
I sold it on to a son & his dad- as seen in the condition above- ( MINT- long before the days of 'detailing') I remember the day because they turned up in an MR2 done up like a Ferrari-
he added some weird exhaust ( Side excit angles & a few other mods)
hope this helps-
Steve
