11 Turbo Stiff Turbo after sitting

Hi All,
Finally got my 11 turbo's bits back on & running again after 7 years of sitting.
The turbo is now stiff when I move it by hand,and doesn't budge at idle. Maybe just a matter of running it (at idle) for longer
Any tips on this would be great!
Cars is standard setup.

It sounds like the oil has gell/ gumbed up around the shaft, I would change the oil & run up until very hot then recheck if it is free change the oil & filter.
If it is still stiff you may have to get it rebuilt and the oil feed cleared then change the oil again.

The t2's pretty much stop at idle. I would just change the oil and run it, assuming it was ok beforehand it will probably sort itself out with a bit of use.

Just saw the replies! big thanks for the advice. It certainly had no probs when it was last on the road! I'll carry on with it.
