sticking Koni shocks

Hi all
being away from home a lot, I have had not had a chance to get some professionals to work some magic on the car

Here in Melb is a business set up just to do wheel alignments, they have all the Porsche, Alpine and Aston club members as customers and a busy as hell, and come highly recommended
http://www.trutrack.com.au/index.html

Anyway .... they told me the Koni's are sticking ... so this obviously effects the whole movement and balance of the car.

Question/s?
has this happened to other Vee's
is it common?
can you rebuild the Koni's?
Should I fit something else ?

talk soon

First I have seen any mention of a sticking Koni. Read a few posts from owners needing new ones, but not the reason why.

One person fitted a new one and it leaked very soon after.

There is no repair kit listed from Renault. (perhaps an email to Koni might come up with something?)

Just noticed "trutrack" themselves seem to know a fair bit about Koni. Have they said a rebuild is possible?

Konis cannot be re-built as far as I am aware. They are pretty useless anyway compared to better quality makes. They are a compramise IMO between perfomace and standard road use.

The only real credible option is a new set of KW Variant 3 coilovers. Now they are good!

Tru track advise the Koni's can be rebuilt

they advise to stick with them as they can re build them for many times to come unlike others

interesting the comments from above?
Might investigate a new set ?

Suggestions anyone

Depends on cost to repair vs getting some KW's

I have them and theyre great - feels like a totally different car
