Steering Wheel not straight - help

Weathers

New Member
Have had the tracking laser aligned and still the steering wheel is not straight when going straight. Any ideas?

The people aligning the tracking didn't centre the wheel solidly enough ...

You may be able to remove the wheel and adjust on the splines but usually this does not do an exact alignment and on a car with an air-bag I would not know the risk involved in removing the steering wheel etc.

Take the car back and ask them to re-centre the steering wheel ...

Yes, the meccy has probably only adjusted 1 side to get the wheels aligned.

If they adjusted both sides evenly the wheel would still be alinged.

Cheers, Matt
