Spark Plugs

Just on this subject (and yes I have been through the search option and followed the links) - what is the spark plug gap? Is there any advantage to changing these (I'm assuming mine are the opriginal ones)?

Excusing my ignornace here then - assuming that I didn't fit the Bosch plugs and went for something like Denso - would these not be adjustable (also assuming that they probably fit more than one type of car)?

I appreciate that it would be possible to measure the ones that are already in place, but I'm just thinking that these may have changed - given the incredibly harsh environment that spark plugs operate in.

I think that you will find that all recommended spark plugs by the manufacturers have a fixed setting.

In all cases I think they are all platinum tipped plugs.

The reason being the time interval between changing
