Could be interested in this one; providing there's track time.

There's track time ALL day Ali..!

But unless you're entering a period car in one of the competitions, you'll not be going on it.. lol Its a fantastic show show though regardless!

I imagine the format for this event is the same as the years before, but if we can get the Vees on a parade lap that would be fantastic! Did it in 2013 for the 911's 50th Anniversary, but not much fun as they managed to cram over 1,200 of them, so it was like a jam on the M25! :s

There will be far less Vee's, but I see that Sunday (26th July) is designated as Silver Sunday (i.e. only Silver coloured cars will be allowed into the infield, and on track for the parade lap). As such, should we look at attending on Saturday (25th) instead, if there is a parade lap on Saturday and Vees can be included in this?

Judging by previouse experience, the Silverstone staff are fantastic. Chances are that they would try their best to give you what you want.

If we can get enough to go, I'll sort it out. It's a fantastic weekend event, but general attendance in the past hasnt been great (huge thanks to those that have managed to attend :salut: ). If numbers are down again this year, I may look into opening it up to other marques under 'Origine RS' to help promote our event the following month.

01/ Williams
02/ Lankan

It would be a real shame if we cannot make it this year, since there is no other event like Silverstone Classic in the UK, and also since it is the Vee's 15th anniversary.

Fingers crossed.......

We'll be there one way or another Dulan.. :approve:

Origine RS is a compliment to 'v6Clio.net' not a competitor! :salut:

Good to hear that Shaun - I too will be there either way, so win-win if it is in the Vee, parked up inside.

Agree that it may be a good idea to open it up to Origine RS - remember there were a number of people who came up to the stand, to see and chat about Vees, who were also interested in attending Origine RS. :approve:

I think you might have misread this Dulan. they are celebrating their silver anniversary hence there is a special on track parade for any silver cars on Sunday but other colours are still allowed infield. can you imagine the Ferrari section if not! Empty!

You are right about the 25th anniversary Graeme, but in 2013 all 911's signed up to go on the parade were shepherded to a completely separate area from the official PCGB club area, which is what I referred to as the 'infield'. Given that this time it is likely to be a bigger logistical problem for the organisers to sort out, I expect the process to be similar (i.e. you will be asked to drive up and park at a completely separate area to other cars, and then arrive at several assembly points about 45 mins before the parade lap is due to start - PCGB had 4 assembly points spread across the circuit.

I was more focused on the parade lap though.......

I'll be attending one of the days.

If there is a parade lap then I'll make the extra effort to attend that day.

Also, If the club gets a parade lap I'm sure it will encourage a fee more Vees to attend.

Anyone else for this CO rich, petrol heavy, high speed spectating event?

The clock is ticking for us to get early bird entry!

Fully agree with Shaun. I think everyone should have this event in their calendar.......there is no other like it in the UK.

We ought to make this a special occasion as it is the Vee's 15th Anniversary.
