Did he give you that price when you first asked? When i emailed asking for a price on the spoiler he told me £200 so i asked about the pods and he said £200 each.

I asked them about a few items as well and they were not cheap at all. He didn't state the condition of these and didn't send any pictures. For instance he was asking £150 for the pedals box which is completely wrecked if you have a look at the pictures on eBay. [smilie=icon_eek.gif]

I didn't trust them at all so I didn't order anything.

Prices changed both times I called. 500 for pods in the end, which I declined.

Hi Austin - basically I asked over phone - he rang back and quoted me £200 plus VAT each side - I had to confirm that included grills and fixings - once they were off the car he rang me back to confirm again what he had infront of him and condition. I was quite impressed that he did that but just a shame once I received them that who ever it was who took them off was not aware of the back fixing lug !!! Stupid really but it is as we know repairable. They are now in Scotts hands for repair - hope to get sorted for Kimbo - when I saw him yesterday his garage FULL of Vee's !! So im on the back burner

His OEM side pods had be stolen and some weirdo things had been fitted by the previous owner. All getting sort now.

Yep ! That's the ones !!! od: lol !! They have been bonded on in three places (no screws used) - I have shown Scott, I just hope they can be removed without any damage to the car !! Possibly will have to push the cheese grater grills in to get at the sealant If anyone wants them I am open to offers. Scott is getting the new ones repaired now and is going to call me when he has time (hope before Kimbo) . May be a while, he had 7 Vee's there on Friday ! And his mates dog lol - she was lovely !

Thats a shame, have you mentioned it to them? Personally i would of let them know and asked for some cash back to cover repair etc.

Anyway at least you managed to get them.

I wonder what else has sold from it.

No I haven't - I was really pleased to get them - as you can see from James's picture. It didn't bother me until someone raised a thread on here about "cheese graters for grills" -that was it - I had to look for oem !! when a 20.000 miLe example came up for sale with ALL necessary stuff done by Scott at 10 years old - fair play to Geoff the 1st owner who listened to Scott and spent a fortune on getting it fit for sale :bow: the Pods at that time were not an issue for me ! But that changed after the above ! od: lol !!
