In November 2001 I got a new job for a German company and my first company car! Got the train to Wolverhampton to pick it up from the previous guy who did the job and drove it back home.
Of course I was chuffed to bits at getting myself a year old Audi A4 and spent that weekend cleaning it.
The following Monday I was to drive to Birmingham Airport to catch a flight to Germany for my training in the new position, I remember being really excited/apprehensive on the Sunday night & hardly slept. Next morning I was up by 4:00am and left to drive to Birmingham Airport. I remember getting onto the A14 near Kettering and setting the Cruise Control to 70mph.......

CHECK OUT THE BLOOD ON THE SILL!!

Nex thing I remember waking up in the car looking at the headlining and a guy asking me what my name was? After I answered he then covered my face and said they're going to get me out... i heard lots of crushing & breaking glass (obviously cutting the car roof off) then I was lifted out of the car, and on my way to Hospital.
In total I spent one Month three different Hospitals and managed to break my arm, my pelvis my thigh and totaly smash my tibia so had to have this fitted for a few months!!
I have ABSOLUTELY no memory of the crash, and was told by the Police that I basically drove into the back of a truck that was illegially parked on the road. When they got there the truck had gone, and I was sat there smashed up.
