I hope it's not someone on here who was selling the rear Koni dampers for a ph1 Renault 19 16v cabriolet...
About two weeks ago there was an auction on Ebay for a pair of Koni rear dampers, starting bid was a fair £25 so I bidded £26.89. Someone else came in with a bid of £37.00 and the shocks went for £38.00 to someone else.
I thought non more of it, hadn't been back on Ebay since then logged in only to find I had "second" chance offer. By this time it was to late and the shocks had been relisted so I missed out on them. I did contact the seller and he said he was just going to let the action run for the second time.
This time round I put £40 on them, I was getting them for £25, then just like last time (according to bid history that I have saved from previous auction) the same person came in and bidded £37.00 so I ended up winning them for £38.00 the same price as last time.
The £12 extra I aint really that bothered about because I have still saved £130 on a new set and they do look in very good condition, but it's the principle of "friends" upping the bids to scam people.
Not very impressed, scamming TW*T don't know whether to inform Ebay because I have the proof or just buy them and in return leave negative feedback?
What would you do?
