5 GT Turbo Setup opinions

After having low compression readings and oil contaminating the plugs I decided to rebuild the engine. Need new rings but not sure on what to get. I have Iasa forged pistons and steel liners. Was thinking Total rings, are these going to last with the steel liners? Can't find an answer to this..The 5 is not an everyday car, not used often but will be pushed hard when used.

I would look at total seal rings. @James5 done a bit of research on them for the c1j a few years back.

I did use total seal piston rings but with std pistons but i was using steel liners. The total seal where a much better quality item with the materials used in the ring's and would wear nicely with the steel liners. I know of a couple of c1j engines running steel liners and wossner pistons with wossner rings and have had no issue's at all and one of these engines is 300bhp efi

I contacted a few places about wossner and total seal rings. Gonna go with total rings, seem like the better choice for my setup.
