Set of Cromodora's on eBay (£3,000)

Yeah that's Nathan selling them. Strong money, but at least they are in the UK and in decent nick!

Still not seen a better option than 18" OEM's

No you're not. I completely agree with your feelings on it... I've also been looking at Pro Race 1.2's in case I can't find eighteen inch super-T's

1.2s could look good. Had a set of 16"s on my 172 back in the day.

Might have to do a few photoshops of different alloys to see how they look.

Well you may be in luck Dave!!

A company in France has had 1.2s made in v6 road car and Trophy fitment:

Having seen a trophy with these on, they certainly look nice.

I personally think cromodoras look awesome on Trophys and can look stunning on phase 1s, but dont seem to work on phase 2s.

Agreed. Look okay on Ph1; they seem to fit better for starters?!

OEM 18's look great. I wouldn't swap.

What would be considered the going rate for a set of these?
I know this guy has his for sale for 3k but surely £500 a wheel would be closer to the mark?

He can dictate the price as he see's fit! Not exactly many sets floating about. Keep in mind that they are Mags, and will bend easily...So if you break one, chances are you'll be waiting a while for another one to appear...and there's nothing to say that one will be straight.

Worthing speaking to Russo/Simon etc. about how much they paid...for context.

Have you got pics of these fitted to a road car Duncan? I really want to try different wheels sometime. other than Compomotive or OZ (which I think use spacers) I see nothing else available?

These have been for sale in France for a few months and just short of £1850.00 GBP

You sure about bending easily?
I use magnesium wheels for rallying and the last thing they'd do is bend. In fact it's astonishing how hard they are to bend or break and trust me, I've tried!!!

Maybe not 'easily' but more susceptible to bending/breaking than alloy.
