hope someone can help
I was out driving this evening i have 1/2 tank of fuel next time i checked ive now got 3/4 tank :s :s
i thought it could be the sender unit float stuck so i hit some round abouts at speed to try free it with still no joy!
so i decided to fill her up to see if that helps i put £35 in so defo less than 1/2 tank ,fuel guage has now moved to full but it moved up to full very slow over the course of ten mins and the range on the computer is all over the place and won't read higher than 266 miles on a full tank?
has anybody had this prob before or know easy it is to get the sender unit out to check it,im off to wsr germany fri so dont want to be get to invovled in case i damage something.

thanks davie.....

Stop driving it around like a hoon you muppet. Im sure Russ Swifts cars only ever read half full when on 2 wheels!! Speak to Scott mate. I'm sure it cant be anything too seriouse.

If needed the tank is accessible under the carpet on the shelf behind the driver......unbolt the plate that's there, unclip the connectors and unscrew the big cap.....pulls out with pump and sender attached.

No smoking!

if you decide to take out the sender unit make sure your tank is as empty as possible, otherwis your tank will deform and you won,t be able to put your sender unit back in without any leaks..
