Seemingly abandoned Phase 2

That's a real shame, but a good project for someone!

Mechanicals will need recommissioning and the paint is likely to need a good machine polish. Being indoors, and not exposed to the elements may have helped preserved the interior (apart from the mould) and prevented rust getting a hold. Doesn't appear to have any dings or scrapes.

Would be interesting to see where this one ends up...pity the plaque number wasn't photographed.

Is this known to you Duncan?

Not much more known than what is written on the comment. Its been there since it was 2 years old!

IT was also on our clubs Facebook page recently (different photos)

Happens from time to time in Hong Kong apparently?

I would like to know the plaque number and VIN. I wonder if its a UK car or was supplied to HK originally?

The VIN can be seen from the windscreen but I don't know where it's parked.
Phase 2's in Hong Kong are private imports such as this https://www.contempoconcept.com/product ... lt-clio-v6

Only a handful of Phase 1's were imported into Hong Kong by Wearnes Motors, the official distributor of Renault. Less are on the roads today as it also happens elsewhere in the world.

Less usual is this Phase 1 which cannot be registered anymore because it has no papers. Apparently the owner abandoned it.
