Had a Recaro Pole Position fitted in the past & whilst they're very supporting, they are not for the *ahem!* fuller figure !....such as not a 6ft2 110kg dude, e.g me!....
mine was professionally fitted & in fact appeared higher to the external onlooker than the ordinary seats cos of the out of the box side mounts
you can lower them on the side mounts, but it's a screw driver/ratchet job, not an adjust in situ sitting in it thing.
found the Pole Position a little uncomfortable after a while, it's good for thrashing round the track, not soo good on your everyday drive, so changed it to a Recaro Sportster CS which is a bit more civilised
have the Pole Position + side mounts ( not the runners tho as the Sportster uses the same ) if anyone is interested, material Perlon Velour Black....open to offers
one thing of note is that the original seats weigh an absolute tonne, pole position clocks in at 4.5kg or 10kg with side mount + subframe, now that is a huuuuuge saving [smilie=yay.gif]
