Rubber Strip

Hi all,

So when I was looking at Marks lovely pictures of No. 349, I noticed a rubber strip on his car that I don't have on mine. I went down to Renault and asked but they couldn't find anything on the system. I used to have a normal Clio II and vaguely remember a rubber strip in the front, so as standard did the V6 come with the rubber strip below or is this an OEM+ add on? Anybody know a part number?

Came as standard, catch my bonnet tray on it every time I remove it. Reckon it's to stop wind getting up under the bonnet &/or the bonnet hitting the metal lip that it covers. Sorry, don't know the part number tho, maybe James knows the magic number?

Its a clio standard part.
Cant take a look for the part no at the moment.
But james might help you out with it soon

When I got my Vee the rubber strip was missing. Scott at SGM told me it was missing and ordered it from RPD for me.

So it may well be worth giving RPD a call.

Thanks James, I'm going to pop down to Renault again tomorrow and see if they can find the part this time :)

So I collected the part from Renault this morning. For those interested the part number was 82 000 85 033 and it cost me R432.75 so about £25 (roughly £1 = R17).
