I just called. I couldn't book a date as Paul is out of the country until 8 May. She was happy to take my deposit though.
However, whilst I was on the phone I asked if there was any space between now and 11 May (as I'm overseas with work wef 12 May until end Jun) and she said no. For that reason I didn't pay a deposit as the deal was re-map within May only.

I cant get hold of Paul at the mo with numbers as you said - he is away. Bear with us ...
Just a suggestion, but is there any scope in asking them to extend the booking period, ie into Jun, or Jul maybe. I'd happily book and pay now if this was the case.
It's an assumption but I dare say a lot of people are being put off physically booking due to the constrained timelines, myself included, especially if they are being compounded by no date being confirmed on booking. It's not ideal with Paul being away until 8 May, but they could have left someone behind with authority to make bookings otherwise. Essentially I have an 8 day window in May, based on their diary and my commitments. Others will have 19 days at best, due to his trip overseas. I think this is justification for an extension, surely?

Was 3 I think. People are saying yeah , but no deposits ..
That's quite disappointing I thought more people had booked in already. I'm presuming that 3 includes me? With only a couple of days to go I can't see 5 happening unless it can be extended
Dont panic. Its people not putting the deposits down thats the issue.
It's not too much of am issue for me as it will be going on regardless I,m fed up of having a spare room full of car parts. At least £50 off would be nice though

I joined this site because I picked up on this deal. I am happy to call RST this morning and pay a deposit, the only issue is I get married on the 19th May and then go to Florida and the Caribbean for three weeks. I won't be back until mid June. So unless I cancel the wedding which I don't think Mrs Bowen would be pleased about, I would miss out on this deal.
If the dates can be extended, then I'd gladly jump in if it's not too late?
