That's pretty hardcore Graham!

I think Ali (an abrasive character on here) had very little interest in his half-cage recently - but stuff like this will always sell in due course... eBay is useful for a forced sale.

Most owners will want to hang on to their OEM parts for the same reason you cited wanting some.

I would estimate that 1-2 Mk2 Vees have accidents each year which are financial impractical to repair. Usually it's front end - so covers do become available.

OEM seats are pretty awful and have a 182 likeness. Some fleck patterns vary - but the information is on here. Some Vee owners ditch their OEM seats cheap in pursuit of better alternatives with custom rails (such are Recaro Tredlines seen in 182 Trophy). You could go either way on this.

Finally, the Vee was originally designed as a GT - so it'll be very nice to restore to standard. An increasing members like to hustle them around on Trackdays (such as OrigineRS) - your existing Vee looks 'ready to go'. Might be worth having some fun with it before dismantling the motorsport appendages...
; )

Ali is a charming chappie btw!

Thanks for your reply ket the seats are fixed and I'm looking for something I can get the wee man and his seat in as well so I need a standard seat belt plus I feel like I've got to pour myself in to it haha I just droped the engine timing belt and water pump done on my drive in under 7 hours it's a simple enough job considering the garage quotes are sky high for the job

Brave man Graham and big :salut: for you Sir. I just wouldn't have the knowledge or bottle to strip the engine out on my drive and do the belts etc, but can imagine it's nothing too daunting for a mechanic!!!!!

Welcome along! I Saw on Ray's FB that he had sold-up...for a very mundane E90....boo!

Good luck selling the cage, I didn't even get a bite on mine!...
