Was in the garage today looking through some boxes & found my collection of Retro Cars magazine - some great features including the rolling road shoot out. It got me thinking...who's still about & do they still own the same motor - some of course are obvious, but i'm gonna list the folks who were there - be interesting to see who's still in the game.....

James Darvill - claimed 220bhp - achieved 175.5bhp
Simon Blewitt - claimed 220bhp - achieved 184.8bhp
Jonhspin - claimed 220bhp - achieved 205.7bhp
Andy Rabson - claimed 220bhp - achieved 216.6bhp
Tony Maddocks - claimed 175bhp - achieved 163.2bhp
Graham Hunt - claimed 230bhp - achieved 175.1bhp
Jon Cooke - claimed 175bhp - achieved 194.2bhp
Dave Sibley - claimed 2000bhp - achieved 237.2bhp
Ricky O'Hara - claimed 175bhp - achieved 185.5bhp
Phil Clews - claimed 220bhp - achieved 239.5bhp
Dips - claimed 180bhp - achieved 185.1bhp
Rob Coulson - claimed 240bhp - achieved 199.2bhp

One thing's for sure - claiming 220bhp was a popular choice...:icon_biggrin::icon_biggrin:

I'm still about but don't currently own a 21.....for now..

Who else is still about...???

What was the car on the front cover of that issue, cause I remember having it somewhere, will be interested to have a look.

That was when i had the bogey! I still don't believe that the figures were correct on the RR. My silver 21 was quicker, and had less power when it was mildly modded:icon_wink:

The bogey was a ph2, and thats what put me off owning ph2's ever again. Ph1's forever & ever :icon_wink:

Rabson still has teh same car is just a garage ornament now.

As for mine Rust in peace. Is all i can say.

Noticed i was not on the list mmmmmmmm y,:icon_sad::icon_sad::icon_sad:

You weren't photogeneric enough to put in the magazine...either that or they ran out pages...
Si Gambin also didn't appear although he was there..chap probably fell asleep listening to his his waffle before he took the photo..:icon_lol:
