5 GT Turbo Renualt 5 gt turbo electric windows really slow

Hi guys
Recently brought an E reg R5 turbo and have a list of issues to try and iron out .
One of these are the electric windows , they work but really slow and when closing on the way up they even stop about half way and I have to push with my hands ,, lol ,,
Any advice would be great guys , where do it start ??? Thank you

Hi, could be a number of issues, investigation is key so get the door card off. A good clean up and re-lube of the regulator may help. Check that all bolts that hold it are tight as these doors have been slammed many times. Usually there is a plastic guide that has worn and that causes slackness causing window to tilt and get get stuck at slight angle. Could be a worn motor erc etc. I would suspect wear and tear on the regulator plastic parts. Let us know what you find. Good luck with your mission

generally if you remove the motors and clean them up it can help, i replaced the motors and regulators, you can get a set from Italy, and they are as good as new
