Renaultsport Clio V6 body kit - Art of Speed

Not sure what the purpose of this article is, but this is the first time I have read an article devoted to exploring the changes made to accommodate a body kit!

The Renaultsport Clio V6 is a hot hatch like no other, and we explore details of its extraordinary body kit

I think it is rather a half-hearted attempt by Evo. As such, if you are new to the Vee, or wish to know more about the surgery performed to make the Clio V6 look the way it does, and why, then you may wish to download and read this; Developing The Clio V6 Road Cars - 20th Anniversary Special (eBook)

Some of those V6 assembly pictures would’ve beefed up the article though. It is quite a remarkable story... just needed the Clio V6 to win outright at Le Mans for the fairytale ending. :)

This is as close as they got on that front Kett!

...before a 25 car accident in a 10 lap race ensured they were not invited back!

Thanks for sharing Dulan.

I was at Le Mans the day of that 25 car shunt... they'd given them a longer final drive so they could pull more speed down the Mulsanne.... but they weren't that stable at high speed at that point anyway (this was before the new rear suspension) and someone lost it in the straight line (might have been helped) and played pinball off the barriers back into the pack.
There were some seriously smashed cars.... the car I was going to end up racing the year after ("The PurpleFinder") (not that I knew it at that point) was unscathed but only because it was so far back the accident was over before it got there I think! ;-)
