was 130 euro per ton, i think its dropped to 100 now, thats picked up at your yard for that. the shell on its own would not make much. irish reg no. would cost you 720 euro now for an imported 1.

and yes you are dead right the irish road tax system is a fuckin joke. it cost the most of 1700 euro now to tax an rs4 if it is pre 2008, 2200 if it newer as they brought in the co2 system then. a 1.0 micra is only about 200 to tax . it should be on the fuel. not a bit fair, but thats why i only tax for 3 months and skip 2 and tax again for 3. van is the only thing taxed for the year!

And every time ya go to tax something,the fuckin price has gone up.I used to use the tax off the bike,back when it was only 20 quid a year and the boys didnt put there noses up against the windsreen.
