Removing steering wheel PH1

Hi guys!

Just got home from finally getting home from my first drive in my very own Clio V6 PH1!
What a machine!!!
Can't wait to give it some TLC this weekend!
Mine is 1 of 2/3 cars on plates here in Norway, so not a common sight at all.

As you all know the steering wheel is not the greatest in this car, and mine is neither.
So I have bought a used one and I want to install it on the car, but I can't find any guides on how to do this.
In the knowledge database there are only a guide for a PH2, not a PH1.
Could anyone kindly share with me how do I remove it and what do I have to look out for when doing so?

Best regards Fat_Board

had a nightmare of a job to get mine off. first remove airbag (careful), i think there are 2 screws behind wheel and one electrical plug. Loosen centre nut but do not fully remove as you are going to hit it with a hammer. Next, pull up firmly and squarely on wheel or get someone else to do it. Whilst pulling, strike the loosened nut and it should come free. if it does remove nut and you are done. The problem is that they are on a tapered shaft and can be very tight!
