Refurbish rear brake calliper

Hi.

I was wondering if anyone have refurbished their rear brake calliper?

I cannot source a new part so I'll have to refurbish mine. I have bought the kit to do this and checked how it is done in other cars, but I have never done this myself.
It looks quite straight forward but I was wondering if there are any pits to look out for?

I can find a few topics were people sent them off for refurbishing. Only found one from Blakey who sorted his own out (with some troubles) viewtopic.php?f=102&t=16547&p=152563

[mention=4,#000000]James[/mention] I've gone thru some of the posts here on the forum as well, but it looks like there is not a lot info on the rear callipers. They should be the same as the Citroen XM from what I have read and they do look similar.

The post you linked to was for a front calliper.

Yes I had mine refurbished, including the worn handbrake cam lobe being replaced. Drop me a PM and i'll link you up with the place that sorted it for me.
