Had a notion too rattle some fuel system/injector cleaner in the vee

Halfords have redex (the gold fancy one)
spt
slick50

etc etc

are they all balls or are they worth the 14 squid?

i remember back in the day using redex, a puff of smoke and then better throttle

Andy we buy it in bulk, used it in various racing classes, karts, cars and in the old man's classic.

I use it regually, prob once or twice a month.

Best bet is to dump the oil and run the Forte engine flush through it. It's something i did on mine to great effect!

I run octane additives all the time. Runs much better on it.

We pay 27£ for about 10l iirc.

I've just had my car serviced - after just 3k sounded like a bag of nails on start up, especially when sat for a few days, probs cos the oil drains to the sump and also its 90c+ in the summer and I do drive the vee quite hard!

Anyways as per Ali said did a flush, added slick 50 then Silkolene 5w 40 oil.

Defo noticed a difference compared to the previous service when the Renault dealer used Shell but the engine feels much freer in terms of revving and is quieter as well.
